Pyratex Fabrics
Composition: 92% Organic Cotton 8% ROICA elastane.
Organic cotton farming does not allow the use of toxic chemicals or GMOs (genetically modified organisms), instead combining tradition, innovation and science to benefit the environment and promote a good quality of life for all involved. Compared to growing regular cotton, organic cotton reduces field emissions from fertilizer, energy use, and needs less irrigation.
ROICA elastane is a 100% degradable replacement for traditional elastane. It is eco friendly because it has:
- Reduced oil content (1-3%)
- Reduced water consumption in scouring and dyeing process
- Reduced air pollution
- Reduced energy consumption
- Excellent molding performanceHigh UV resistance
Handwashing is always the best method for garments that is made from cotton. When caring for your piece, pre-treat any stains with a mild solution. Soak the item for 30 minutes in hot water. Wash pieces made out of cotton on a normal cycle with hot water in order to get the best results. Add a fabric softener to eliminate static, prevent wrinkles and keep your piece soft.

Baird McNutt
Composition: 100% Linen
Linen is a biodegradable fabric made of flax plant fibers. Linen tends to be cooler and more resilient than cotton. It also has some strong attributes that place it high on the list of eco-friendly fabrics. Natural coloured Linen is fully biodegradable.
All chemicals and dyestuff used at our Linen mill supplier complies with the European REACH compliance legislation.
Linen is more durable so can be tumble dried on a high heat. We advise line drying if possible which will not only retain elasticity of your piece, but it is also better for the environment. Linen wrinkles easily so we advise a light iron on the highest temperature setting or steam works too.
