Sunday a day of breakfast in bed , relaxing and getting organised for the week ahead. Has anyone elses weeks been flying by lately? It is definitely starting to scare me how close it is getting till I am finished 3rd year and off to the Big Smoke (NYC)…. eeeeeep!! But I’m not going to talk about that just yet. As some of you may know I have been in London for the past week. We go over every year fabric shopping with my college as there is such a wide range of fabrics and great prices to choose from. The main Fabric Streets we go to are Berwick Street (Expensive) , Shepherds Bush (Cheaper) which are two full streets with loads of little shops. But my favourite location for shopping would have to be Woolcrest Textiles LTD a Fabric Warehouse which is where I got my main fabric for my mini collection of 3rd year. This is one location I would definitely recommend heading out to as there is loads to choose from and very cheap prices.!! I will leave a link to all shops and other locations I love below.
- Berwick Street
- Shepherds Bush
- Woolcrest Textiles LTD
- London Trimmings LTD
- Dover Street Market (Designers)
If you are on the search for some up and coming designers I would have a look in Dover Street Market. Dover street features amazing avant-grade pieces and is owned by Comme Des Garçon. If you were following me on my (snap: indieirishblog) you would have seen a few snaps including my DREAM GUCCI bag which I have shared a snap of above…. ( After I save up for a few years.. 🙂 )
….and we can’t forget about My Vintage Obsession…. London is one place I love vintage shopping with a hugh range of locations and shops to go to, my top two locations would be Camden Market and BrickLane.
Mucho Love,
Aoife. x
